FDP - 3 Day Residential

Client : TSWRES & TTWRES

Duration : 3 Day Residential

Objective

The objective of the Faculty Development Programme (FDP), conducted by the Centre for Learning Design (CLD) at Woxsen University, was to enhance higher education teaching practices by integrating learning design principles into classroom delivery. The programme aimed to equip 50 senior lecturers from Telangana Social Welfare and Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Societies with active learning strategies, inclusive teaching methods, and reflective pedagogical practices. The broader intent was to shift educators from traditional content delivery to student-centered, experience-driven learning models, while fostering empathy, inclusivity, and self-awareness in teaching practice

Execution

The FDP was executed as a structured three-day, in-person immersive programme, combining experiential workshops, collaborative learning, persona creation, neurodiversity awareness, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), learning outcomes design, and creative prototyping of future classrooms. Each day progressed strategically from foundational active learning principles, to inclusive and outcome-driven design, and finally to planning, implementation, and vision-building through storyboarding and model-making. The programme incorporated yoga sessions for holistic development, hands-on group activities, reflective exercises, and co-creation workshops, ensuring deep engagement and practical application. Participant testimonials and visual documentation further indicate strong impact and enhanced pedagogical confidence among attendees.
